As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll ensure accurate, timely compensation for a global team while contributing to key process improvements and compliance practices. You’ll collaborate across finance and HR teams, play a crucial role in financial reporting, and support a people-first culture. This is a mostly remote position with occasional in-office presence.

Accountabilities:

  • Accurately process monthly and bi-weekly payroll for 400+ employees across North America and EMEA.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and record payroll journal entries, ensuring financial accuracy.
  • Respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Support cross-functional teams as a subject-matter expert in payroll processes and compliance.
  • Contribute to process improvements, enhance system efficiencies, and document best practices.
  • Perform audits, analysis, and reporting related to payroll costs and business metrics.
  • Assist with various accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of payroll or accounting experience, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work history.
  • Proven ability to improve systems and processes through technology and automation.
  • Experience with multi-state (U.S.) and international payroll is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented, analytical mindset.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.
  • Experience with Netsuite, Paylocity, HiBOB, and strong spreadsheet skills is preferred.
  • Willingness to work remotely, with the ability to be on-site 1–2 times per month in CO if required.
