Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing general ledger accounting, assisting in month-end close, and supporting audits and financial reporting. • $65000-75000 per year +bonus

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis.

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including financial reporting and account analysis.

• Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash transactions.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.

• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.

• Help ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives within the accounting function.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred (internship experience acceptable for entry-level roles).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle).

• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
