**Job Title: Hand Finisher (Sheet Metal)** **Job Description** Join our team as a Hand Finisher, where you'll be responsible for the finishing of various fabricated sheet metal parts. This role involves duties such as deburring, grinding, and polishing to precise specifications using hand-held sheet metal finishing tools. **Responsibilities** + Deburr, grind, and polish fabricated sheet metal parts. + Use hand-held sheet metal finishing tools effectively. + Meet specified finishing standards and quality requirements. **Essential Skills** + Experience with hand-held/power tools such as power hand grinders, power sanders, and hand files. + 6+ months of general mechanical experience. + Strong hand/eye coordination. + Good math and reading skills to learn precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and read blueprints, dimensional diagrams, or work travelers. + Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with grinding, deburring, and finishing of sheet metal parts is a bonus but not required. **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic work environment in a medium-sized sheet metal fabrication shop owned by a contract electronics manufacturer. The environment is industrial and may be dirty, and the role involves heavy lifting and laborious work. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Vista, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
