Job Description
**Pearl Interactive Network is recruiting to hire Communication Specialists.**
The **Communications Specialist** is responsible for answering in-coming phone calls from consumers and providing knowledgeable responses to inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. The Communications Specialist is also responsible for assisting callers with filling out questionnaires and submitting the questionnaires electronically for processing.

**Technical Equipment, and Remote Office Requirements:**
1. Broadband internet connection with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 5 Mbps. No Satellite Connections. **Test your network at speed.cloudflare.com to verify before you apply.**
2. Ethernet cable access. Wi-Fi-only connectivity is prohibited.
3. Private and secure workspace within your home. Away from noise and distractions.
4. Computer equipment, monitor, and headset provided.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Answer in-coming phone calls from consumers.
+ Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
+ Capture call information and summarize nature of call.
+ Retrieve and transcribe voicemails from consumers.
+ Provide additional information from website and provide information to assist to consumers.
+ Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
+ Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary.
+ Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
+ Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
+ Performs other related tasks as assigned.
**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent required.
+ Minimum 6 months customer service, secretarial, and/or telemarketing experience required or equivalent military experience.
+ Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Marketing communication skills including writing and composition of marketing materials.
+ Strong experience and working knowledge of Excel, Power Point and Word.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately.
+ Ability to work under tight deadlines.
+ Must be able to work independently.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Must maintain skills through continued and on-going training through Learning Management System (LMS) or through client's own training system.
**Physical Requirements:**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
