Job Description

Description We are looking for a success-driven and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting Team in Los Angeles, California. This is a six-month contract position that offers hands-on exposure to corporate accounting processes in a dynamic, global organization. The role provides an excellent opportunity to build foundational accounting skills with the potential for long-term career growth. Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing manual journal entries with accuracy and attention to detail. - Perform basic account reconciliations to ensure data alignment and integrity. - Support monthly financial close activities, including documentation and reporting. - Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting functions. - Ensure the accuracy of financial data and proper alignment of dates. - Help verify balances and maintain supporting documentation for audit readiness. - Learn and contribute to cash reconciliations and basic financial reporting tasks. - Collaborate with team members to enhance accounting workflows and processes. - Gain experience working with Oracle systems and other accounting tools. Requirements - Basic knowledge of accounting practices, including account coding and reconciliations. - Experience with accounting entries and familiarity with accounts payable processes. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis. - Ability to work with precision and manage manual tasks effectively. - Familiarity with Oracle systems or similar accounting software is a plus. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in all tasks. - Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced corporate environment.
